As the central landing zone of the Florida tech community, we bring together the most focused, driven
startups from across Florida and give them access to world-class coaching and programming in our
32,000 square-foot-hub in downtown Tampa. In addition, we host 200+ public events to ensure the local
community is engaged in the evolving dialogue about entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation in
Florida.
We are looking for a Content Associate who can capture our community’s activities and stories and help
share Embarc Collective’s impact on our digital channels. The right person for the job has solid writing
skills, a creative eye, and is an eager community builder.
The Content Associate will create, edit, and manage engaging content across various digital platforms
including the Embarc Collective website, blogs, and social media, ensuring alignment with the brand
voice and mission while optimizing content for search engines and user engagement.
The Content Associate will be responsible for capturing creative photos and videos as well as startup relevant content during events and programming at Embarc Collective, lead the weekly creation of communication assets for Embarc Collective, including our weekly newsletter, social media properties,
and periodic blog-published thought leadership content, along with additional special projects. You will
also be an Embarc Collective liaison for our PR agency.
The Content Associate is responsible for web marketing and web analytics and will execute Embarc
Collective’s marketing strategy across LinkedIn, Google, Facebook, Instagram and any other relevant
platforms. This role will regularly review and analyze the success of Embarc Collective’s marketing
strategy through the use of data analytics, and report on the insights gained and make necessary
adjustments to drive the continued success of the Company’s marketing program.
This role is structured within a 40-hour workweek, but there will be some after-5 pm work events
required, so your schedule may fluctuate on a week-to-week basis.
