Startups at Embarc Collective Attract National Investors to Tampa

With an eagerness to learn about the growing startup community in Tampa Bay, over 20 national venture investors visited the region during Tampa Bay Innovation Week in February. As part of a collaborative effort, Embarc Collective coordinated with Synapse Florida and Florida Funders to ensure these investors were exposed to the breadth and strength of our ecosystem while visiting Tampa Bay.

The week kicked off with Embarc Collective’s Investor Fly-In, sponsored by J.P. Morgan and Buchanan. Embarc Collective orchestrated over 100 carefully curated 1:1 meetings between our member startups and the attending investors. Historically, almost 100% of our founders will schedule follow-up conversations with an investor they met,” said Allie Felix, VP of Platform at Embarc Collective. “This program is so valuable because it provides an opportunity for national investors to get to know our market while delivering meaningful value to our member companies seeking capital.”
