Prior to joining Ballast Point Ventures in 2004, Matt began his career in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group of Raymond James Financial where he focused primarily on the specialty pharmaceutical, drug distribution and contract research organization sectors.
Ryan is the Co-Founder of Thrive25, a health & longevity startup designed to empower and inspire all of us to live our best life without health getting in the way. He also serve on the Board of Directors at Bambino – the #1 babysitting app on the AppStore.
Before moving to Tampa in 2019, Ryan was in Los Angeles working as President/COO at SnackNation – raised over $30M of venture capital funding and grew from a team of 10 employees to over 180 – selling into 6,000 corporate customers.
Balaji Ramadoss is the former President and CEO of Edgility, a firm that specialized in AI-driven healthcare operations. Edgility was fully bootstrapped and later acquired by a private equity firm in April 2024. He now leads EXOS, a platform for knowledge management across higher education, healthcare, manufacturing, and utilities. For Balaji, capital is a tool—not a crutch—and execution velocity is the clearest signal of value—and the only real moat. He backs systems that move; platforms that reach the frontline, and AI that can act. Former executive at Tampa General Hospital and Stanford Healthcare. Balaji occasionally dreams in Tamil, his mother tongue, and frequently rolls his eyes at bureaucracy. He’s here to build the future—and make sure it doesn’t suck.
