Embarc Collective has helped shape the Tampa Bay tech ecosystem since launching in 2019, creating a founder community where ambitious builders can start, grow, and scale in Florida. Over the years, Embarc Collective member-companies have achieved a 96% survival rate, created 1,200+ high-paying tech and tech-enabled jobs, and raised more than $600M in angel, venture, and growth equity, including more than half from investors outside the state of Florida.

Like many of the startups Embarc Collective supports, the organization began with limited resources and a clear mission, proving its impact early by making the most of the tools and data it had.

Today, Embarc’s frequency of engagement, volume of data, and complexity of programs have grown significantly. The systems that once enabled speed are now creating friction: fragmented tools, manual reporting, and time spent chasing data instead of serving founders. To keep building momentum, the team needs infrastructure that scales with them, one that supports decision-making instead of slowing it down.

As Embarc enters its next phase of growth, it’s building a stronger, founder-first operating model, one that depends on timely, trustworthy insight without taking on the burden of building a data infrastructure and engineering function in-house.

To support this evolution, Embarc Collective has partnered with Spontivly. Through the partnership, Spontivly’s software will help Embarc operationalize its data as it scales by centralizing key inputs, reducing infrastructure overhead, and making critical metrics easier to access, understand, and act on.

Tim Holcomb, CEO of Embarc Collective, put it simply, “Embarc Collective exists to help founder-led companies start, grow, and scale right here in Tampa Bay. As we sharpen our founder-first focus and expand our platform, it’s essential that we can measure what’s working, where founders need more support, and how our impact is compounding over time.”

A full-stack analytics layer at the heart of Embarc’s operations

Over the next three years, Spontivly will serve as Embarc Collective’s full-stack data provider for reporting needs across the organization.

That includes:

  • Community impact reporting that helps Embarc communicate outcomes with more confidence and consistency.
  • Internal operational metrics that support day-to-day management and smarter decisions.
  • Management and stakeholder reporting that makes it easier to share clear, reliable insights with leadership, partners, and the broader ecosystem.

As Tim shared, “Partnering with Spontivly helps us connect the dots across our community and turn fragmented information into clear, actionable insight for the founders we serve.”

From Spontivly’s perspective, the work is about building a reporting layer that is actually usable.

“When your data lives in spreadsheets, databases, and various analytics tools, it’s nearly impossible to get a clear picture of what’s working,” said Anthony Nagendraraj, CEO of Spontivly. “Our work with Embarc is about making the right information easy to find and act on; so programs can prove impact, improve outcomes, and keep building the kind of ecosystem Tampa Bay deserves.”
