Embarc Collective Welcomes Tom O’Neil to Board of Directors

We are thrilled to welcome Tom O’Neil, Tampa Market Lead for Brixey & Meyer and seasoned CPA, to the Embarc Collective Board of Directors as Treasurer. Tom brings a wealth of experience in audit, assurance, tax, advisory, and strategic financial leadership that will be invaluable as we continue to accelerate growth for founders and the broader innovation ecosystem in Florida.

Tom currently serves as the Tampa Office Market Leader for Brixey & Meyer, where he leads the firm’s efforts in expanding into the vibrant Tampa market and delivering value-added accounting and advisory services to middle-market companies. His leadership has been instrumental in strengthening the firm’s presence and client partnerships in the region.

Prior to Brixey & Meyer, Tom enjoyed a long and distinguished career at Ernst & Young (EY), where he served in senior roles and gained deep expertise in audit, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. Throughout his career, he’s been committed to excellence in service, quality, and fostering strong client relationships—qualities that align closely with Embarc Collective’s mission of empowering founders and scaling innovation ecosystems.

Beyond his professional achievements, Tom is actively engaged in community and industry organizations. He is an investor with QCA Ventures and New World Angels, contributes through the Brixey & Meyer Community Outreach Foundation, and has served on boards such as United Way and Goodwill Industries. His combination of professional acumen and community involvement exemplifies the spirit of leadership we value on the Embarc Collective Board.
